Another A song of Ice and Fire (GRR Martin) Fanart, done for an exchange.

There is a serious lack of Sam Tarly fanart out there.

1) Sam and Jon taking the vow. Both the vow for the Nights watch and his friendship to Jon are very important for Sam
2) Sam reading to Maester Aemon. I like their relationship and also the fact that Sam is intelligent and loves books.
3) Sam with a raven, leaving the wall. When they go north, he's in charge of them, and he does well.
4) Doing some slayering, y'know
5) Sam escaping with Gilly and newborn baby through the forest. I always thought that his friendship/love and the fact that he helps her was really great.
6) Sam leading Bran (and Summer) towards Coldhands. He keeps Bran's secret, even though Jon is his best friend. That's awesome.
7) Behind every election there is a great man in the shadows.
8) And finally, Sam in Oldtown with Alleras/Sarella. I wish we had seen more of that in ADWD, but well. :/

Great images. The pic with Sam, Gilly, and the baby seems to be the only one on this subject around. Would you mind if it was used to illustrate the article on "the abomination" (the baby) in the Wiki of Ice and Fire? See: [link]

I just remembered, if it's only for the baby, I made a more distinct one of Gilly and kid here [link] in the panel of the mother.

You are so right, Sam is an awesome character! Spread the love! The illustrations do a greatjob of depicting the key moments of Sam's role and actions in the book. :)
